Welcome to Wheelz Web Design. By hiring us for any design, development, SEO, maintenance, or digital product services, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

Scope of Work

We provide custom website design, redesign, SEO consulting, website maintenance, social media content creation, and digital downloads.

All project scopes are defined in your quote or invoice. Any additional requests outside the agreed scope will be billed separately at our current hourly or per-item rate.

Payment Terms

  • A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to begin all custom design and redesign projects.
  • The remaining balance is due upon project completion, before launch or delivery.
  • SEO services, maintenance, and digital products must be paid in full upfront unless otherwise agreed.
  • Late payments may result in a project pause or a late fee of 2% per month.

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Credit card
  • E-transfer

Revisions & Change Requests

Design packages include up to 2 rounds of revisions.
Additional revisions or major changes outside the original scope are billed at $50/hour or based on your service add-ons.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing:

  • All content (text, images, logos, etc.) by the requested deadlines
  • Timely feedback and approvals

Failure to deliver content or feedback within 14 days may result in a project pause and rescheduling of your spot.

Timelines

We strive to meet all agreed-upon deadlines. However, delivery dates are subject to:

  • Timely client communication
  • Scope of project
  • Third-party delays (e.g., domain or hosting issues)

Missed deadlines due to client delays will not be held against Wheelz Web Design.

Ownership & Licensing

  • Final approved designs become your property after full payment is received.
  • We retain the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials, unless you request otherwise in writing.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have proper rights to any content you provide (e.g., images, logos, text).
  • Third-party licenses (e.g., stock photos, plugins, fonts) may not be transferable.

Digital Products

All digital products (e.g., templates, checklists) are:

  • Delivered electronically
  • Non-refundable
  • For personal or business use only, unless otherwise stated
  • May not be resold or redistributed

Website Maintenance & Support

Maintenance packages are available on a monthly or annual basis.
Basic support and minor fixes are available within 14 days of project completion.

Ongoing support outside this window requires a maintenance package or will be billed per service.

Cancellation & Termination

Either party may cancel a project with written notice. In the event of cancellation:

  • The client agrees to pay for all work completed up to that point
  • Deposits are non-refundable
  • If the client is unresponsive for 21 days or more, the project may be marked as abandoned

Limitation of Liability

Wheelz Web Design is not liable for:

  • Loss of income, data, or reputation due to website issues, hacks, downtime, or SEO results
  • Third-party service interruptions (e.g., hosting, plugins, platforms)
  • Issues arising from client-modified code or third-party changes post-launch

Privacy & Confidentiality

We will not share or sell your personal or business information.
All files and project details remain confidential unless permission is granted to share them.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
Any legal disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate court within that jurisdiction.

Site Termination

If you request that your website be taken offline, a Site Termination Fee will apply. This fee covers the time required to:

  • Safely remove your website from the server
  • Back up any content if requested
  • Assist with hosting or domain cancellation

Fees start at $50 CAD and may increase depending on the complexity of the termination request.
